As of January 1, 2026, the NOPAIN Act lets surgical facilities offer Game Ready and be separately reimbursed for it, giving your patients a non-opioid recovery that Medicare now recognizes. Do I need a prescription to rent Game Ready?

Yes — Game Ready is a prescription device, and we help coordinate the prescription with your surgeon's office as part of your rental.

Is Game Ready covered by insurance?

Coverage varies by plan. We help you understand your insurance and out-of-pocket options, and confirm everything before you're charged.

How much does it cost to rent Game Ready?

Rental is priced by the period, with options for extra weeks and additional wraps. Share your details and we'll confirm current pricing for your situation.

Is Game Ready used after a knee replacement?

Yes — Game Ready offers knee wraps and is commonly used during recovery from ACL repair, meniscus surgery and total knee replacement. Your surgeon can advise on what's right for you.

How is Game Ready different from an ice pack?

It circulates cold water and adds active pneumatic compression through a fitted wrap, rather than sitting still like a static ice pack.

How soon can I get a Game Ready rental?

Tell us your surgery date when you reach out and we'll coordinate delivery so the unit is waiting when you get home. If you're already recovering, we move as quickly as your prescription and shipping allow.

Can I rent Game Ready for surgeries other than a knee replacement?

Yes. Game Ready has wraps for the knee, shoulder, ankle, hip, and back, so it works for ACL repairs, rotator cuff surgery, joint replacements, and most orthopedic recoveries. Tell us what you're recovering from and we'll send the right wrap.

How long do most people rent Game Ready for?

Most patients rent for one or two weeks, which covers the stretch when swelling and pain are worst. If your recovery runs longer you can extend, and we confirm the pricing before anything is charged.

Can I extend my rental if I need more time?

Yes. Reach out before your rental ends and we'll add the weeks you need. Additional weeks and extra wraps are available, and we confirm your pricing first.
